英語 : 早起きは三文の得
今日のことわざ

今回は、英語ことわざ（諺）です。
”石の上にも三年”とか、
”聞くは一時の恥、聞かぬは一生の恥”とか、
ことわざを考えた人って、ほんと偉いですよねぇ。
「全くだ！」とほとほと共感するのですが、
かといって、なかなかその通りには出来ないんですよね、これが。

今回突撃したのは、
アメリカ北東部アナーバー（Ann Arbor）出身のLisaさんです。
実は上のことわざ以外にも、
”More haste, less speed.（急がば回れ）”
と、”So many men, so many minds.（十人十色）”
をお願いしたのですが、「知らないわ」と言われました。（￣ー￣?） .....ｱ､ｱﾚﾚ?
アメリカでは一般的ではない？あるいは、イギリス限定？
辞書には載っているのだけれど・・・
でも、まぁ、
”案ずるより生むが易し”
ということにしておきます。つづく。
